Emily Brannon, Counselor in Psychology, M.A.

Welcome,

I’m Emily (she/her), a counsellor and member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I have a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and practice under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Lewy. I work with children, adolescents, and adults from all backgrounds, offering a warm and inclusive space where you can explore your emotions, strengthen your relationships, and deepen your sense of identity.

I have a particular interest in working with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive concerns, including unwanted and intrusive thoughts, rituals, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I have completed additional training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based approach for OCD. My broader approach is client-centered and draws from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and existential and humanistic perspectives. I work collaboratively with you, allowing you to set the pace and focus while supporting you in developing greater self-understanding, navigating challenges, and living more authentically.

At the heart of my approach is the belief that therapy can be a place to create new experiences of feeling safe, understood, and supported. Together, we can explore your challenges, find meaning, connect more deeply with yourself and others, and create space for meaningful change.
