I am a Clinical Psychology PhD candidate at the University of New Brunswick, living in Montreal, with extensive experience conducting psychoeducational and psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. I am trained in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), and have experience using a wide range of assessment measures to better understand cognitive, academic, attentional, emotional, behavioural, and social functioning.
My approach to assessment is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to neuroaffirming care. I recognize that differences in how we think, learn, communicate, and experience the world are not inherently deficits, and that understanding someone's strengths is just as important as recognizing their challenges. I strive to make the assessment process respectful, non-stigmatizing, and sensitive to each person's experiences and circumstances. I also recognize that neuroaffirming practice requires ongoing learning, and I am committed to continuing to develop my approach through research, clinical experience, and the perspectives of neurodivergent individuals.
I believe that assessments should be collaborative and guided by your questions and goals. Whether you're seeking accommodations at work or school, hoping to better understand yourself, looking for diagnostic clarity, or some combination of these, we will work together to determine what would be most helpful to explore. My aim is to provide a thoughtful and thorough assessment, along with practical recommendations that are relevant to your life and what matters to you.
I look forward to working together!
